Common Questions

Our plans cover refrigerators, freezers, washers, dryers, freestanding ovens, stoves, cooktops, dishwashers, garbage disposals, ice machines, and dryer vents. All major brands are serviced — Samsung, LG, Whirlpool, GE, Maytag, Kenmore, Frigidaire, KitchenAid, Amana, Viking, and Thermador. We do not service HVAC systems, microwaves, wall ovens, or Sub-Zero brand appliances.
The following repairs are not covered under any maintenance plan:

• Sealed system repair (compressor, refrigerant lines, evaporator, condenser)
• Washing machine wash basket/tub replacement
• Washing machine transmission replacement
• Wall ovens (built-in wall units are not eligible)
• Sub-Zero brand appliances
• Gaskets and glass (not covered under any warranty)
• Cosmetic damage or user-caused damage
• Appliances over 15 years old (for parts coverage only — labor is still covered)
• Appliances not in the member's primary residence

Free service fees: Basic members get 1 free service fee per year ($109 value). Premium members get 2 free service fees per year. VIP members get 6 service calls per year at $0. Additional calls are charged the standard $109 service fee (members still receive their labor discount).

You get 20% off all parts with no sales tax (max $400/year cap). Every repair includes a 210-day warranty — longer than Sears (180 days) or any national competitor. Appliances must be under 15 years old for parts coverage.
Absolutely. All plans cover your entire home's appliances from day one. If you buy a new appliance, it's automatically covered under your existing plan — no changes needed.
During a maintenance visit, our technician performs a full inspection and tune-up of your appliances: checking electrical connections, cleaning condenser coils, inspecting hoses and seals, testing temperatures, cleaning dryer vents, flushing ice machines, and identifying any parts showing wear before they fail. Think of it as a physical for your appliances.
