Maintenance Plan Terms & Conditions | Treasure Coast Appliance Repair

By subscribing to a maintenance plan through our payment portal, you agree to the following terms and conditions. A copy of this agreement is emailed to you upon enrollment.

1. Plan Benefits

TC Appliance Repair LLC ("we", "us") offers three maintenance plan tiers. Your selected plan determines your benefits:

2. Covered Appliances

All plans cover the following appliances in your primary residence: refrigerators, washers, dryers, freestanding ovens, stoves, cooktops, dishwashers, freezers, garbage disposals, and ice machines. Up to 5 major appliances are inspected per scheduled visit. Additional appliances may be added with written agreement.

3. What Is NOT Covered (Exclusions)

The following are excluded from all maintenance plans:

  • Sealed system repairs (compressor, refrigerant lines, evaporator, condenser)
  • Washing machine wash basket or tub replacement
  • Washing machine transmission replacement
  • Gaskets and glass (not covered under any warranty)
  • Cosmetic damage or user-caused damage
  • Appliances over 15 years old (labor is still covered; parts coverage is excluded)
  • Appliances not in the member's primary residence
  • HVAC systems
  • Microwaves
  • Emergency repairs outside our service area (25-mile radius of Port St. Lucie, FL)

4. Billing & Payment

  1. Monthly billing. Your card on file is charged on the same date each month through Stripe, our payment processor. All transactions are secure and PCI-compliant.
  2. Failed payments. If a payment fails, we will attempt to rebill once. If the second attempt fails, your membership is paused until payment is resolved. You will be notified by text message.
  3. No hidden fees. Your plan price is your total monthly cost. There are no signup fees, activation fees, or administrative charges.

5. Cancellation Policy

  1. Cancel anytime. You may cancel your membership at any time by calling (772) 353-5791 or emailing marcus@tcappliances.com.
  2. Effective date. Cancellations take effect at the end of the current billing cycle. No refunds are issued for partial months.
  3. 30-day guarantee. If you cancel within the first 30 days and have not used any services, you will receive a full refund.

6. Service Call Policy

  1. Basic & Premium plans. The standard $109 diagnostic/service fee applies on all repair calls outside of your included inspections. Members receive their plan's labor discount on all repairs.
  2. VIP plan. The first 6 service calls per year are at $0 cost. Additional calls are $49 each. Members receive 20% off parts at our cost (max $400/year cap).
  3. Scheduling. Your first inspection is booked within 30 days of enrollment. You will receive text and call reminders for all scheduled maintenance.

7. Warranty

Repairs performed under this plan carry the warranty period specified by your plan tier (Basic: 90 days, Premium/VIP: 210 days). Warranty covers parts and labor. Warranty does not cover items listed in the exclusions (Section 3).

8. Plan Changes

You may upgrade your plan at any time. The new rate takes effect on your next billing date. Downgrades take effect at the end of the current billing cycle.

9. Transferability

Basic and Premium plans are non-transferable. VIP plans may be transferred to a new homeowner at the same service address upon written notification to TC Appliance Repair.

10. Service Area

All plan benefits apply within a 25-mile radius of Port St. Lucie, FL, including Port St. Lucie, Stuart, Palm City, Jensen Beach, Fort Pierce, Hobe Sound, and Port Salerno. Service calls outside this area may be subject to a trip charge.

11. Dispute Resolution

Any disputes arising from this agreement shall be resolved through good-faith negotiation. If unresolved, disputes shall be settled by binding arbitration in St. Lucie County, Florida.

12. Agreement

By completing payment through our Stripe checkout, you ("Member") acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to the terms and conditions of this Maintenance Plan Service Agreement with TC Appliance Repair LLC.
