TC Appliance Virtual Repair ("Service") connects customers with a certified appliance repair technician via telephone for remote diagnostic and guided repair assistance. This is a remote consultation service only. The technician will not physically inspect or repair your appliance. Diagnosis is based solely on the symptoms and information you provide during the call.
The technician will remain on the line until the appliance is diagnosed and/or the issue is resolved. There is no set time limit for the call.
TC Appliance provides diagnostic opinions based solely on the information communicated during the phone call. We are not liable for any damage, injury, or loss resulting from:
• DIY repairs attempted based on phone guidance
• Misidentification of parts or issues due to incomplete or inaccurate information provided by the customer
• Electrical, water, gas, or structural damage arising from self-repair attempts
• Any appliance malfunction that worsens after a remote diagnosis
You assume all risk when performing any repair work yourself. We strongly recommend hiring a licensed professional for all appliance repairs involving gas lines, high-voltage electrical components, or refrigerant systems.
If our technician is unable to provide a diagnosis during the phone session, you are eligible for a full refund of the session fee. Refund eligibility is determined at the sole discretion of TC Appliance and requires that: (a) the customer provided accurate and complete information about the appliance and symptoms, and (b) the customer was available for the full scheduled call duration.
If you subscribe to a Pro, VIP, or Elite membership, you authorize TC Appliance to charge your payment method on a recurring basis (monthly or annually, as selected). You may cancel your membership at any time through your account dashboard. We will never enroll you in a subscription without your explicit consent. Membership pricing is clearly disclosed before purchase. We do not use dark patterns, hidden fees, or negative-option billing.
Monthly Memberships:
• If you have used any membership service (phone diagnosis, guided repair, in-home diagnostic, or repair discount) during the current billing period, cancellation takes effect at the end of that month. No prorated refund is issued for that month.
• If no service was used during the current billing period, cancellation is effective immediately and no further charges will be made.
• You retain access to membership benefits until the end of your paid billing period.
Annual Memberships:
• If no service was used and you cancel within 14 days of purchase, you are eligible for a full refund minus a $25 processing fee.
• If no service was used and you cancel after 14 days, you are eligible for a prorated refund for remaining full months minus a $25 processing fee.
• If any membership service was used within the first 30 days, no refund is available. Your membership remains active for the full annual term.
• If any membership service was used after 30 days, no refund is issued for months already elapsed. A prorated refund for remaining full months may be issued minus a $25 processing fee, at TC Appliance's discretion.
One-Time Session Fees: Diagnosis ($49) and Guided Repair ($79) session fees are refundable only under the Can't-Fix-It Guarantee described in Section 3. Refunds are processed to the original payment method within 5–10 business days.
• In-home membership benefits (diagnostics, repairs, maintenance) apply only to the service address listed on your account.
• Your account login credentials are for your personal use. Sharing your account credentials with individuals outside your household to access membership pricing is a violation of these terms and may result in account suspension.
• If a pattern of repeatedly subscribing, using services, and immediately canceling is detected, TC Appliance reserves the right to deny future membership enrollment.
• Filing a chargeback or payment dispute on a legitimate charge may result in permanent account suspension and referral of the outstanding balance to a collections agency.
• Multiple household members are welcome to each maintain their own individual membership accounts.
Elite Members receive after-hours emergency in-home repair service with the $149 emergency fee waived. Emergency service is available until 9:00 PM, 7 days per week, within our Treasure Coast service area. Emergency repairs are subject to parts availability. While we carry 10,000+ parts in inventory, we cannot guarantee a same-visit repair if a specific part must be ordered. In such cases, the part will be ordered and the repair completed at the earliest available follow-up appointment at no additional diagnostic fee.
Same-day priority scheduling (available to VIP and Elite members) applies to service requests submitted during business hours: Monday through Saturday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Requests submitted after 5:00 PM are scheduled for the next available business day. Same-day availability is not guaranteed during periods of high demand.
In accordance with Florida law (Fla. Stat. § 934.03), all troubleshooting calls may be recorded for quality assurance and training purposes. By scheduling a call, you consent to the recording of the telephone conversation. If you do not consent, you must notify the technician at the beginning of the call.
Phone troubleshooting is available to customers nationwide. However, in-home service benefits included in Pro, VIP, and Elite memberships (discounted diagnostics, priority scheduling, repair discounts, emergency repairs, maintenance visits) are only available within our Treasure Coast service area: Port St. Lucie, Stuart, Fort Pierce, Jensen Beach, Palm City, Hobe Sound, and Port Salerno, Florida.
Any disputes arising from this agreement shall be resolved through binding arbitration in St. Lucie County, Florida, in accordance with the rules of the American Arbitration Association. You waive the right to participate in a class action lawsuit or class arbitration.
By providing your phone number, you consent to be contacted by TC Appliance at the scheduled time via telephone call. We will not use your phone number for marketing purposes without separate opt-in consent.
TC Appliance reserves the right to modify these terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated via email to registered users at least 30 days before taking effect.
